9.0 Firefox for iOS Release

September 29, 2017

Version 9.0, first offered to Release channel users on September 29, 2017

New

  • Hands off my Browser! We’ve added native Tracking Protection to Firefox. This is a feature long requested by everyone. Tracking protection is turned on by default in Private Browsing and if you’d like to enable it everywhere you can toggle it on in the settings. This feature uses cutting edge features and is only available for those on iOS 11.

  • Bi-Directional Bookmark Sync

  • We’ve been working hard on addressing everyone’s feedback and to help the team move faster and deliver even more amazing features we’ve had to drop support for iOS9. For those of you who have been holding off from upgrading now is the time.

Fixed

Unresolved
