Test Case Description for  keyboard access

Purpose: Verify keyboard can perform all actions.


Initial  Conditions:



      Put the mouse (or other pointing device) aside and exercise each feature of the software using the keyboard.


Steps/Description:
  1. Move the keyboard focus to the menu bar and the system menu.
  2. Navigate to and select all menus and menu items including the menu bar and system menu.
  3. Verify that each toolbar function can be performed using the keyboard.
    (Not all the buttons need keyboard access.If the control on the toolbar is unique and cannot be accessed in any other way, the control will be required to have a keyboard shortcut.)
  4. Navigate to and operate every control or"hot spot" in window client areas and dialog boxes.
  5. Navigate to sections or panes of the application window.
  6. Switch the keyboard focus between modeless dialogs ,and the applcation window.
  7. Select text and objects in the window client area.
  8. Verify that features invoked via direct manipulation using the mouse are available through some keyboard method.
  9. Verify any additional enhanced keyboard support provided by the browser.


Expected Results:

      The actions should be operable using only the keyboard.
