Version 38.2.0, first offered to Release channel users on August 14, 2015

Thunderbird 38.2.0 contains underlying code that is based off of Firefox 38.2.0 esr. See also the release notes for the update from Thunderbird 31 to 38

    The "maildir" storage type can no longer be set through the UI due to various issues. Power users can still set the storage type using the config editor.
