Version 57.0a1, first offered to Nightly channel users on August 2, 2017

Firefox Nightly gets a new version every day and as a consequence, the release notes for the Nightly channel are updated continuously to reflect features that have reached sufficient maturity to benefit from community feedback and bug reports. Features listed here may or may not make a final release of Firefox.

  • Firefox Nightly has a new logo

  • Added an option to the Page Action menu to report a website issue in Firefox Nightly and Firefox Dev Edition

  • Firefox Nightly now gets updated twice a day so as to help our communities in EMEA and Asia regions to catch regressions and report them during the Americas night.

  • The browser's "autoscrolling" feature now uses asynchronous scrolling, similar to other input methods like mousewheel, providing a smoother scrolling experience.
