The role

Mozilla Firefox Product Management is seeking an outstanding Product Manager to help us drive key customer experiences. We strive for customer-centricity with a strong attention to detail, being resourceful, adaptable, creative, and results oriented with high energy and a positive outlook.

This important role will help our team focus to understand, prioritize, and address key customer needs.  You will work closely with the team and cross-functional partners to define project requirements, clarify design goals, lead design reviews, and improve the quality of our products.

We are looking for a highly motivated, collaborative Staff Product Manager for a 6 month contract to help build products and services that solve real problems for real people.  The ideal candidate is a proven technical product manager with exceptional communication, project management skills, entrepreneurial drive, all while taking pride in contributing to a broader mission and product vision.

Responsibilities:

  • Create and pilot exciting new shopping capabilities that will power Firefox and future product experiences.
  • Contribute to a great product team. Lead by example model behaviors on business modeling, shopping ecosystem, and the foundations of good product management.
  • Collaborate with engineers, user experience, and other team members to define and articulate shopping product experiences and services.
  • Evangelize and tell the story of our shopping experiences internally and with partners and agencies.
  • Stay ahead of consumer and shopping ecommerce trends to translate into advancements in Firefox.
  • Balance technical, customer, and business insight.
  • Contribute to healthy product team relationships.

Your professional profile

  • 5 or more years of direct Product Management experience including 2 years with high scale product experiences.
  • Experience with shopping service products particular products with affiliate marketing and or cash back services.
  • Experience with managing multiple product team roadmaps to build cohesive data ecosystems, platforms and tools

  • Skill and experience participating in new product launches and product discovery
  • Demonstrated attention to detail, being resourceful, adaptable, creative, and results oriented with high energy and a positive outlook
  • While you enjoy collaborating, you are able to function autonomously without straying from the product strategy and product framework.
