Working closely with partners across IT, SRE, along with other departments across Mozilla, the Senior Manager of Platform Security ensures that Moz Prod systems and services are secured through the implementation of technical and administrative security controls.  

In this role, you will…

  • Build and lead a team focused on translating technical and administrative security controls into platform security standards.
  • Define, refine, publish and evangelize the resulting cost effective security standards, ensuring accurate translation into platform configurations.
  • Design and provide actionable platform lifecycle management capable of supporting Mozilla’s corporate and product initiatives.
  • Continually work to improve Mozilla’s security posture by partnering and supporting other parts of the cybersecurity organization.

Your professional profile:

  • 5+ years of relevant hands-on experience in a cybersecurity domain leading and driving teams that designed, published and built security standards.
  • 5+ years of experience translating technical and administrative security controls into actionable platform configurations.
  • 5+ years of experience managing teams responsible for cybersecurity lifecycle management from cradle to grave.
  • 5+ years of people management experience and the ability to develop and mentor team members under your leadership.
  • 10+ years of experience in any cybersecurity domain(s).
  • Maintains CISSP or relevant security industry certifications.
