Mozilla Finance is responsible for strategic resource allocation, and day-to-day financial operations as Mozilla scales its mission impact with new and existing products, technology, and business models to better serve users and advance an agenda for a healthier internet.
We are seeking a hardworking Sr. FP&A Manager who will lead our FP&A function. You will have the opportunity to lead and develop a team of strong FP&A professionals and use financial insight to drive better decision making. This role will be actively involved in financial analysis, reporting and consolidation processes, and will be responsible for key deliverables for senior leadership. This position will also be in charge of developing solid cross-functional business partnerships, leading special projects, improving processes, financial reporting and assisting with implementing business intelligence tools.
To succeed, you will need to develop creative solutions to abstract strategic problems, deliver your work in a compelling format, and balance big picture thinking with outstanding attention to detail. This position requires a results-oriented self-starter who can work comfortably with business partners across the organization, take tasks from start to finish, and someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment.
As a Head of FP&A, Corporate Finance you will
  • Partner with business owners to drive financial strategy and performance
  • Partner cross-functionally across Product, Marketing, Engineering and Risk to remove obstacles for growth and provide KPI’s and key analysis to support and drive growth
  • Manage our financial model (P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow)
  • Lead financial planning, forecasting, and budgeting. Complete analysis of financial results with a focus on clarity and accuracy about Mozilla’s financial performance
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual reporting - assessing operating and financial results, understanding key trends, reviewing current and future business risks
  • Assist with the build-out of dashboards to capture key performance metrics and observe business performance
  • Attract, hire, manage and retain exceptional performers to build future leaders of Mozilla FP&A team
Your Professional Profile
  • Candidates must possess substantial expertise in financial analysis - including budgeting, forecasting and cash flow modeling
  • Experience with financial modeling and advanced spreadsheet and data modeling skills (Pivot Tables, array functions, Power Pivots, etc) – to develop sophisticated and scalable models
  • Deep understanding of 3 statement models and accounting concepts
  • Flexibility (open to change) and ability to learn on the fly
  • Analytical and inquisitive nature with excellent written and verbal communication skills and demonstrated ability to communicate and distill complex ideas and information
  • High level of operational rigor and the ability to prioritize competing objectives in a fast-paced environment is crucial
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to influence through creating fellowship
  • 12+ years of experience in Finance with 4+ years in a leadership role in a high growth business, ideally managing a distributed FP&A team
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting or Finance
  • Self-starter with initiative to gather information, provide solutions, and get things done
  • Bonus points if you’re familiar with Looker and have an ability to tackle, and succeed with, a diverse array of projects that require varying skills
