The Firefox team is a community of engineers who care deeply about delivering the fastest, safest, most usable web browser possible. As a key contributor on the CTO team, you will help us make fundamental improvements to how Firefox and the Web work, thus strengthening privacy and security for hundreds of millions of users throughout the world.

What You'll Get to Do
- Develop and deploy new security features for Firefox and other Mozilla products.
- Help to standardize emerging technologies and protocols for encryption of web traffic and related data.
What You Bring
- Solid skills in a systems programming language such as C, C++, or Rust.
- Extensive experience with security-critical programming.
- Good knowledge of network and communications security.
- A meticulous approach to software testing and code safety.
- A passion for privacy and security.
- Experience with industry standardization (e.g., reviewing and writing protocol specifications).
- Knowledge of security analysis and threat modeling.
