Bezilla: Team

Bezilla Team
I decided to split the team inside two groups. Active and inactive members. Active members are the ones submitting patches or helping out on the newsgroup by providing good development advice within the last month.

The inactive are the ones that once participated but we've not seen help in the last month. I hope this will encourage people keeping up to date and continuously helping us.

Active

Paul Ashford

Paul is the current BeOS port lead.

Sergei Dolgov

Sergei is working on networking, file handling, focussing issues, and intl.

Christopher Seawood

Christopher is helping us out by committing our patches to the tree. He also setup the BeOS computer that is running tinderbox on the ports page. Christopher is also giving us hints on the newsgroup as to how to go with certain fix.

Timeless

    Miscellaneous ports support.

Inactive

Daniel Switkin

Daniel works on the GFX library for BeOS. Daniel's work there is what brought us the major speed improvements in release 0.9.8!

Makoto Hamanaka

Thanks to Makoto, who worked on getting the menu working through the patch Bug 58217.

Matthew Zahorik

Matthew is, in my opinion, the technical leader on this project. It's not that he manages everyone, but more that he is the one that continuously provides technical help and knows the low-level stuff. He was there since the begining and ported NSPR (the first library needed) to BeOS. He is always active on the newsgroup and provides incredible help.

Justin Morey

Justin jumped in last year, he is actually very active and has helped us get over the add-on patch by implementing Be's suggested trick. Justin is very active on the newsgroup and has submitted numerous patches on Bugzilla on the different parts of Bezilla.

Yannick Koehler

Yannick joined when the NSPR port was done and he helped out on the gfx and widget library. He now maintains the web page and continues to submit patches on Bugzilla.

Bradley Johnson

Thanks to Bradley, this site looks more interesting and professionnal.

Richard Hess

Richard was the team leaders since the begining. Helping each of the team member ensuring that they works on different parts of the project and keeping us motivated. He also went to many Netscape brown bag and helped us getting information from Netscape directly. We lost him as he switched to work on Linux project, I think since Dec 99.

Duncan Wilcox

Duncan works for Be Inc. and was assigned to help us out. I think he's been re-assigned to a different project since April 2000 as his contributions to the project have stopped since then.

Peter Schultz

Peter has helped us by compiling and providing hints as to what may be wrong with the build.
