We need to create an API to allow a version of a base device context to be created from information available in a platform specific printer specification supplied by the application. this will most likely be a method of the device context to ask it to return a new version of itself based on the supplied printer specs. Layout's ability to perform proper splitting of object across page boundaries. Existing rendering code. Unix printing requires Postscript rendering.
