Mozilla supported the MozDev Community Organization by providing general funds to support MozDev's operations. MozDev is a software development community dedicated to making quality applications and extensions freely available to all computer users. Its goal is to help establish Mozilla as a viable application development platform. Since 2006, Mozilla grants have funded the majority of MozDev's budget. This support gives back to the community that contributes so much to establishing Mozilla as a viable application development platform and the community that builds quality applications and extensions.
