This example requires Firefox 3 or later to work with screen readers -- it uses ARIA properties without namespaces, which is now the correct markup.

Here is an editable DHTML combobox. With focus in the text field, press F4 or alt-down arrow to open the drop down or use the button. Type in a new entry and press enter to add to the drop down list. Pressing the escape key will close the list.
